In another message, Fred said: "Buss (Bussmann) still lists the 4AG, as
their styles AGS for fast and MDM for slow-blow. "

This turned out to be useful information!

I went by the parts place and found that most of them were marked MDM or
AGS. However, most of them were 30amp.

I found a couple 5-packs of 1.25 amp, and sorting through a box of loose
fuses, found a bunch more that appear to be slow-blow. They are marked MDM
and range from 2 to 5 amps. Some others are marked AGS or ABS with amp
ratings of 2 to 5 amps. ABS are fast-blow like AGS, except using ceramic
(or something other than glass) for the body. There were some ceramic ones
marked F06A, which a Yahoo search indicated were a military version of an
ABS type.

Its not as nice a haul as I had hoped. But I may be able to come up with
some more in a couple of weeks.

Question for those who wanted 4AG fuses: Would the fast-blow fuses with
higher amp ratings possibly be as useful as, say, the lower amp slow-blows?
Would you folks want the 2 to 5 amp fast-blow fuses? Please let me know.
