[Hallicrafters] Thanks- Loewy/Hallicrafters History Help

Just wanted to say 'Thank You' to all who responded with information on the 
connection between the industrial designer - Raymond Loewy, and Hallicrafters.
Tons of information that I'm still reading, and one of the most interesting 
tangents to Hallicrafters history I've run into in a long time.

I'm amazed that (apparently) none of the Hallicrafters cabinets that he was 
responsible for designing, had a "Designed by Raymond Loewy" label on them - 
somewhere - - - especially with the weight his name carried in the 30's-60's.

I have a number of reference books dealing with early tube-type radio 
equipment, and I'm equally surprised that I've found no mention of his radio design 
accomplishments in any of them.

Thanks again for all the help and info.  Very glad to be part of the list.
