Joe,
I have about 6 Echophones in the basement.  I haven't got to restoration
yet.  I think I have a working example of each variation however.
I also have original manual for at least one of the variations. I guess you
know they are the ancestors of the S-38 series.

Hallicrafters/Echophone EC-1 Commercial receiver.  I am looking for notes on
common problems,
repairs, modifications, schematic errors, stability issues,
repainting/lettering,
dial cover refurbishment, and your restoration efforts in general.  In other
words, just about anything you would be willing to share.
