Hi yet another time,

I just looked at the unit for sale and the one in my manual.  The one in the 
manual  appears to have the 4 VR tubes mounted on a panel flush with the 
chassis.  The other 2 tube socket holes are not evident. The grommet I mentioned 
that is near the VR tubes is the same in the manual as it is in the unit 
pictured. 

I looked in my HT-33A MK I and the plate that the VR tubes are mounted on is 
not evident.
