Whoa!
Don't be in such a hurry.
1st. You need to find a decent attorney.
I assume this was a first interview, and I don't know of
a good attorney that charges for a first interview.
2nd. As far as I know, if they are found to be liable for damages, they
are
not only responsible for fees, but also the cost of collections.
3rd. You contribute too damn much to this hobby to leave the air.
I am not an attorney, I have unfortunately been involved in such
proceedings.
Make a few more phone calls and get some other opinions,
don't give up the good fight yet.
