Interesting article in May Electric Radio regarding the adding of an audio 
discharge resistor in postwar receiver detector circuits to allow for what 
they term "full audio recovery" during both portions of the audio cycle, and 
as a result, up to 50% reduction in harmonic distortion. 

The example given is adding a 91K resisor across C24C in the Halli S-38. 

I wonder if it'd be of any value in my SX28A: looks like C37 is the diode 
load bypass cap, but I see R25 in there bridging the cap already. Any 
opinions?
