[Hallicrafters] HA-1 Regulator Tubes

Glen,

Thanks, you gave me a clue when you said dropping resistor.

I took a second look and I was reading the voltage on the
wrong side of the resistor. I was reading it right at the
rectifiers. Anyway, on the correct side of the dropping
resistor, the voltage is right on +150 volts. Just what
it should be.

So, the voltages are correct, I would imagine the brite
glow is normal. What do you say?

Something is not right if the 0A2 is supposedly in
line. The regulated voltage should be pretty near 150
volts. You need to see if it is truly hooked up and
that the regulated voltage comes directly off of it
and has not been changed to before the dropping
resistor.

Measuring these voltages, the -105 volts is dead on.
The +150 volts though is much higher. It was measured
at +210 volts.
