[Hallicrafters] RE-CAPPING

I have re-capped several receivers and have not noticed anything but good
effects from doing so.  Replacing old paper caps with "orange drops"
decreases leakage and loss.  Like the other respondent suggested, if we were
working at VHF then there would definitely be cause for concern in using new
caps with different characteristics but at MF I doubt that one would be able
to measure the difference.  Why invent problems which don't exist?
