[Hallicrafters] Sx-28 paint type/color and R-12T speaker info needed

Can anyone please tell me what type of paint was used with the SX-28? Was it black wrinkle or something extremely dark colored grey?

Also, the "h" on that wooden part of the R-12 speaker: was that "h" recessed or not compared to the rest of the wood face? Please let me know and thanks. Cal, N6KYR
