[Hallicrafters] Stork Delivers Little Boat Anchor

Because many of you have been waiting to hear when the latest addition to my
boat anchor collection would arrive, here are the official specifications. 	
	
The extremely rare Gavin model of the seldom seen Hallicrafters products was
delivered by a Stork wearing a UPS hat on Tuesday March 25th. A rather compact
unit, it weighed 6.9 pounds. A true boat anchor nonetheless, being as its
overall length on the operating desk is 19.25 inches. I don't think any
capacitors were blown, but the smell from the diaper it was wrapped in certainly
got ones attention! 	
	
There were reports from credible sources, that short bursts of Morse Code were
heard through the shipping container, so there is little doubt this unit will be
operating on the air in a few years.
