[Hallicrafters] SX-17

I looked at an original photo from QST on the SX-17 controls.  It seems the
plastic pointer with the witness line is on all the knobs except the main
and bandspread knobs.

I can only imagine that these plastic pointers became very brittle and
yellowed after a time and simply disintegrated or were broken from use.
Therefore, I will have to make these pointers for my SX-17.
