Greetings,
I have just about completed an alignment of a HT-32B but have a couple of issues:
1. I have adequate output on all bands; however, the 40 meter band outputs on 9Mhz rather than the frequency displayed on the dial. I don't want to undo all the work I have put in getting it to this point, and believe this is another adjustment of one of the caps or coils. Can anyone on the reflector give me some guidance on this adjustment.
2. I recently read the Collins reflector article on the use of 6146Bs in stead of the plain Jane 6146s. I belatedly realized I did my alignment using 6146W (which the article says are the same as teh 6146Bs). Since this transmitter preceded the 1964 introduction of the 6146Bs (per the Collins article) has anyone had any experiece running an HT-32B with the 6146Bs rather than the plain Jane 6146?
Many thanks in advance for your assistance.
Regards,
Peter N9HXW
