[Hallicrafters] Re WWV Frequency

Although this really is not the place for this item, (blame Richard, as I did
not bring this one up!), why do people wish to have the 25 Mhz frequency
reactivated? NIST was conducting a survey a year or so ago to determine if WWV
was being used enough to justify spending money to keep the transmissions going.
What would be gained by adding this frequency that warrants the expenditure?
