hi Andy. You mentioned that your linear is loaded below its maximum rating.
If you're doing this by reducing the output capacitance of the pi network
then this might be your problem. Linear amps should always be loaded
slightly beyond the point of maximum output for best linearity AND to reduce
the peak voltages on the tube side of the network. See W8JI's web site for
