Hi Phil,
    The 6AG5's are probably the 1st & 2nd RF amps, at least they are in the
SX-42, so probably the same.  They'll keep the gain low if they're weak, but
shouldn't bother the alignment.
    Tnx for your note on rework.  I thought you had done a -42 before.  Just
got Barry's great notes on model changes, etc, tnx Barry.
