Hmmm....Either you had a typo in the visitor number, or the site has been
really busy....I was visitor 888,888...or the counter has a problem. <:-))

Keep up the good work.

To ALL lovers of glow-in-the-dark radios!

The Hallicrafters Collectors International web site has some exciting new
stuff on it, so see if you can be visitor number 53,000 by checking it out
at: http://www.w9wze.org.

"Blast From the Past" this month features the year 1946.

Thanks for all the inputs for the new "RESTORATION TIPS" section. KEEP THE
TIPS COMING! New this month are:
- How to Reactivate Old Rigs by KA5ELD
- How to Reduce Transformer Heat by KA5ELD
- Killing Off Cigarette Odor by KA1DGL

There are two new sections that also need YOUR articles:
- Hallicrafters in World War II
- Hallicrafters in Vietnam

I know there are a bunch of vets out there with stories from WWII and Korea.
So send them on in to webmaster at w9wze.org.

There are also regular updates of material by Duane Fischer (Frogzilla and
Shortwave Listening Columns), Daniel Sampson (English Broadcasts to North
America), Craig Carter (For Sale/Swap), as well as Eugene Rippen's new list
of Amateur Radio Boatanchor Nets.

The HCI web site is non-profit and provided as a resource to everyone by Al
Waller, K3TKJ, of "QSL.NET" and "QTH.NET" fame. Thanks Al, and thanks to all
those who submitted new material. Keep it coming and keep them glowing!
