[Hallicrafters] Paint for SX-42 restoration

Hi
Does anyone have suggestions regarding cabinet paint
for the SX-42?  I am interested in cleaning and
repainting the silvery perforated part, as well as the
dark (black?) portion of the cabinet.  I am not sure
about trying to tackle the front panel.
