Note, when turning over a set as heavy as the -28 always plan ahead.
usually a 
solder spool under the pwr tx on the 28 is enough to preserve the rec
tube.
make up a 4 pin tube base, solder in a few 1N4007 diodes, two in series
 each leg. good test tool too.  reduces the tx load by 15 watts  jack
