Hi folks -
As a new student of Hallicrafters I am wondering if the tubes and knobs mentioned in an Ebay ad (see below) for a SX-62A are considered relatively easy to find - or quite difficult. At least one website mentions that some consider this a somewhat rare model. Does anyone have a understanding the "rarity" of the SX-62A? Trying to increase my knowledge base - so thank you for any help.
All the responses re the SX-25 band 4 question have been most interesting and helpful. Thanks everyone. 73/Tim NZ7C
"Most of the tubes in this chassis check below average and one tube is missing. Two other flaws should be noted: The two large knobs on the set and the small knob on the upper left are not original and four of the perforation holes in the cabinet top have been enlarged slightly, probably to accommodate screws for a small speaker"
