Hi folks - Below is a caption taken from a description of an SX-25 for sale
on ebay. Could someone explain the comment made here about all SX-25's beng
deaf on band 4 (and what does band 4 cover on the SX025)? I'm a newcomer to
studying Hallicrafters - thanks for any input.

"Here is a Hallicrafters SX-25 Super Defiant receiver. The radio plays well
on all bands but is a bit deaf on Band-4 (aren't all SX-25's?). The set has
Push-Pull audio and sounds superb. It has had several cap's replaced
including the electrolytic can. The set is clean except for scratches and
blemishes on the top cover...an easy repaint job if you are so inclined. The
bottom cover is missing. The line cord has been replaced by a modern 3-wire
type. A fuse and fuse holder to protect the radio was added on the rear
chassis"
