Duane,

My preference is to automatically reply to the list.  There will be some 
ruffled feathers either way but I would prefer to face a bit more 
deleting if it means more useful nuggets of info.

In defense of private replies, I do occasionally pass along techical 
info that way.  If I know the info has been posted to the list fairly 
recently I will usually not post it again but just give it to the person 
asking the question.

Keep up the good work, Duane.  We love ya!  (and don't want your job)
