[Hallicrafters] Attaching White Pointer on Sky Buddy Model 5-T with "Boy"

Can anyone tell me how the white pointer attaches to the variable condenser
shaft on the earlier Sky Buddy Model 5-T with "Boy" ie.; press on, use a
nut, pressure washer, etc.? The later Model 5-T without "Boy" uses a machine
screw but none of my pictures are clear enough to see how it is done with
the earlier model which does not have a threaded shaft to accept a machine
