[Hallicrafters] Early Global Glow Tonight

The HCI 20 meter Global Glow will begin with the pre-Net at 6:30 PM EST, (2330
UTC). It will terminate about 8:00 PM EST, (0100 UTC). This change is
necessitated by my grandson needing my assistance with homework and the hope of
taking advantage of better skip zone propagation.	
	
The frequency will be 14.315 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sizzling sound of my somewhat demented, but loveable, neighbor melting the snow
out of my driveway with his Vietnam era flame thrower. The only problem, other
than scorching my grass, shrubs and flower beds, is that the water he creates
freezes and the yard becomes slicker than a graphite greased butt on a kid going
down a playground slide!	
	
I hope to hear many of you there this evening for the roundtable. Jim W5JT,
where ever you are OM, be safe and look for your return.	
	
I will be testing a new desk mike this evening. I would appreciate some candid
audio reports. Now for the unenlightened, or Funk and Wagnel deprived, 'candid'
means giving a frank and brutally honest sumation of a given topic. Said topic,
in this case, how the new desk mike sounds with my melodious baritone voice
modulating it. If it sounds like I have a mouth full of shredded wheat or a cud
of gum the size of an orange on growth hormones tucked into my cheek, please say
so. I might never speak to you again, but your candor will be appreciated.
