Many thanks to all of you that responded to my request. All suggested that I 
go with the 110/220 primary. Thats the way I'm going. Also, most suggested 
that I run the rig on 220. I will soon as I get a line in the shack. I 
curriently have two dedicated 120 volt .30 amp circuits that I had installed 
when the house was built. Another suggestion was to rotate the Pl-172, I have 
two and will follow that suggestion. Jim KAØVSL suggested going to "potted 
diodes" inplace of the tube rectifiers. I have purchased a pair of "solid 
state 3B28s", these I have been told will stand up much better that the 
tubes.
