I have a Black SX-28A and my mate has the non A with the blue gray front..
They are both original and the blue gray seems to have been on some of 
the 28's where as the black is mostly on the 28A's..
The cases also had slight differences in the trim on the sides and the 
color and finish.
My A model has a nice wrinkle finish black case where as the 28 is more 
of a charcoal gray without such a pronounced wrinkle.
