[Hallicrafters] SX-62 For Sale

SX-62 ("Run 2")   General Coverage Receiver.  Listed in Fred Osterman's
"Receivers Past and Present" (3rd edition, see page 169) as "scarce."
Frequency coverage is from the standard AM band to 109 MHz.  Six positions
selectivity switch, 10 watts audio out, AM, CW, and FM.  Outstanding audio
fidelity.  Two toned gray metal cabinet.   Production year 1955-63.  The
unit is in great working order.  I have been able to pick up a large number
of
stations on both FM and AM.  For its age, its in  very good overall
condition.   There is one paint chip on the right front of the receiver and
some very minor wear marks on the cabinet edges next to either end of the
control dials.  I have some pictures available from the original ad that I
can e-mail if desired.  All gauges dials and knobs are in good condition.
This is an all original parts radio (including paper caps).  No
modifications or changes appear to have been made to it.  Included is a copy
of the manual that I downloaded from the BAMA site.
