I'm using NTE5809's, 3 amp, 1000v PIV. Radio Shack has some 2.5 amp, 1000v
PIV diodes that should work (#276-1114). I tried some 600 PIV diodes without
success...as they would short out after several minutes of use, and blow the
fuse I put in the xformer primary.
