[Hallicrafters] Cleaning an SX-99 cabinet

hi,
Sorry Glen, I disagree with Armorall (sp? too) It has silicone in it,
at least what I've seen does. If you ever want to paint it, don't let
silicone near it, or even in your shop, it's almost impossible to get
cleaned off, and will produce fisheyes in the paint.
I've heard that GoJo works well, I use plain dishwashing soap or
Murphy's Oil Soap, and water to clean the dirt/nicotine, etc. then plain
paste wax to shine it up.
