Hi Mike,
I took the RF deck completely apart Sunday and got it
half assembled. Finished up the last few evenings. Must
have spent 6 hours on it. Pulled All 4 "modules" completly
out of the radio. I replaced ALL resistors and caps in the deck,
As I do not want to chance having to open up this damn thing
in the future because a resistor goes up. I have the radio 'bout 3/4
recapped now and i check the resistors as I go. The paper caps
were all VERY leaky as you would expect but I have only
found a few resistors that were out of tolerence. The mica
caps so far have been good. I have been running the set
and enjoying it in-between capping sessions. Heading towards the
power supply and audio section now. I guess I need to add a fuse
to the set while I am there.
Going up to Radio XXXIV in Mass this weekend. Anyone else heading
there? It is the largest antique flea market on the east coast.

Scott
