[Hallicrafters] Cold storage for vaccum tubes

Darell,

    Look back to the Korean War, and post war period.  Things like the 
BC-610 sat in their vehicles for weeks on end in sub zero temperatures.  
They don't keep them warm in motor pools.  I don't believe the temps are 
the major factor, EXCEPT for operating parameters.  Spare parts sat on 
docks for long periods too.

    Having spent a winter or two in the DMZ, it gets damn cold!
