[Hallicrafters] TOO MANY COOKS SPOIL THE BROTH

Well, to stir the pot a bit more, today at the Berryville, VA hamfest, an 
SX-42 receiver and R-42 speaker went for $100.00! ( One Hundred Dollars) Of 
course, someone had painted the SX-42 an awkward shade of green and the meter was 
missing, but the rest of it appeared to be there.  The speaker escaped the 
vandal's spray can but it did have some rust.  

You just never know what you are going to find out there, but I am still 
looking for that SX-88 that someone left on the curb for the trash man!
