[Hallicrafters] RADIO IRAQ

Heard on 11 750 MHz for three nights running (from 19 April) at 21:00 UTC, "Radio Iraq" in English with a whole lot of anti-everybody stuff. North American-sounding accents. Mixed in with jazz. Signal coming in loud and clear hear in Johannesburg on my Yaesu 7700. Using a 20m dipole some 3 metres off the deck, under our City Power street cables and flourescent street lights - QRM to the Nth power.

Also, at ± the same evening hour, on 8 880 MHz in that vicinity of the band, several aircraft, including Jordanian Air (?) chatting to an air-traffic controller in New Jersey.
