[Hallicrafters] Blue glowing tube rectifier???

The 83 is a mercury vapor rectfier and a blue glow is normal. I have not 
heard of a 5Z3/83 combination.  I believe the 5Z3 is the standard rectifier 
for the SX-28, but I am at work right not and do not have access to my book.
