[Hallicrafters] SX-111 Paint Scheme

Well, thanks to all who answered my question about the paint
scheme on the SX-111 vs. the HT-37.

Almost all respondents insisted my HT-37 was painted and the SX-111
was original.  I guess without pictures it's hard to describe the
differences in paint I see here.  Well, I believe we were all
talking about the same thing only I didn't know it or didn't describe
it in enough detail.

Conclusion:

My HT-37 has indeed been re-painted.  My SX-111 is original.  How did I find
out?  A strong halogen light!  Looking at the outside covers of the
HT-37 under this light, revealed a new coat of paint very close to the
original.  However, the inside of the HT-37 cabinet which apparently
was not re-painted, exactly matches outside cabinet color of the SX-111.

Therefore, the HT-37 was painted by someone who didn't care to do the
inside.  Thank goodness I got this out of the way.  Again thanks for all
who responded.  I know where I need to go from here.  I hope I didn't
make myself a nuisance.
