[Hallicrafters] R12t restoration

I was lucky enough to pick up an R12t speaker recently and I'm looking for some restoration advice.

The wooden front is delaminating in places, I plan to glue it back together with yellow carpenters glue. Everything is intact and it will look fine when re-glued. What is the best finish to use on this wooden front? It's mostly in good shape but worn off in places.

Also the grill needs re-flocking. Where can I get this done or buy the material to do my self?
