[Hallicrafters] SX-111 Crystal in a Tube

One last comment about the crystal in a tube. I had one that was
damaged in handling. The crystal unit was dislodged inside the glass.
I tried to cut the glass envelope near the base but it shattered all
over the place. I fixed the crystal unit taped a plastic pill bottle to
the base, turned on the SX-111 and lo and behold the thing worked fine.
It is still working after several years.
