[Hallicrafters] SX-62A

Hallicrafters often times used what was handy when a production run was going
on. Hence, the often times many different shades of gray on the same model and
version of a rx. This appears to have also been the case with knobs. Probably a
derivitive from the 'make do' mentality our Nation adopted during the war years.
Substitutions were very common and often times not reflected in photos or
documentation.

Certainly adds variety, heh?

The knobs are correct - a later variation. 62s came out with 2 different knob
styles. That type are harder to find
replacements for. I think youll find that style on other Halli pieces like the
HT32B SX101 etc.
