My sentiments on the change of Centigrade to Celsius. (grin) Life gets dull,
they have to earn their bloated salary, you know - "publish or perish", so they
invent a more correct term to describe the same thing. I think it was some blind
guy who said, "A rose thorn by any other name,is still a pain in the rump when
sat upon!"

"Damn the college guy who changed Kilocycles to KiloHertz!
Some smart-aleck from MIT, I suppose. You had a good word
there, and it's self-explanatory for guys like me; I can understand it.
I know who Hertz was; he didn't deserve the honor any more than the
rest of us". Dick Cooper
I know that this may not sound like a Hallicrafters message but...does
anybody have a copy of the September 1979 Ham Radio Magazine? I am
looking for the article on the speed readout for the WB4VVF Accu-keyer.
I use this to key my SR-2000. I am rebuilding the keyer into a larger
cabinet, and would like to add the readout function.
Thanks es 73,
