[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters but not exactly a boat anchor

Gentlemen,

This summer I managed to find a pretty little table model with a
Hallicrafters (Ontario) model 5R3 sticker on the bottom.  I haven't been
able to find any information on this model  The closest I've come has been
pictures and schematics for the 5R30 model which looks identical to me
except for "Hallicrafters Continental" lettering between the knobs.  Can
anyone tell me any more information about the 5R3?  Is this the Canadian
version of the 5R30?  Are they very common?  This is the first one I've
