UPS collects Govornment Sales Tax on shipments from the USA coming into Canada
(8% of the declared value of the goods). For this they happily add on a $15.00
service fee on top of the 8%. The Canadian Post Office also collects the GST,
but only charges $5.00 for thier services. Also, many small packages dont get
charged in the post office system and come strait through. Items delcared at no
value generally dont get charged.
