[Hallicrafters] How Useful is a HA-8 Splatter guard ?

Hi Dave,

     Congratulations on the venerable SR-400. Those respondents are 
absolutely correct. I owned a KWM-2, a "C" model "S-Line" and would put my 
former SR-2000 up against Collins anytime. The SR-400 is obviously very 
similar.

     As for the HA-8 "Splatter Guard," I find it to be a big waste of money 
and effort. I sold my first one about 15 years ago for $5 at a hamfest and 
gave one I stumbled across in a box lot away a year ago.

     Put your money in other things.
