Please park your snow blowers, peel off your thermal underwear and warm up those
Halli's that still go blow in the dark. It is soon to be Saturday march 23rd and
time for the Hallicrafters Collectors International 40 meter Net. Old man Winter
is refusing to recognize the Vernal Equinox and has blown through Michigan like
a case of contagious goose bumps. The wind is howling louder than a Beagle
singing harmony with a passing fire truck! How windy is it? The snowflakes are
wearing 'have you seen me' tags!

The Net will warm up the chilly ionosphere with radiant rays from vintage gear
starting at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC). For those wishing to pre-heat their
electron toasters, I will be on the air at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC), trying to
stop my teeth from chattering by eating the latest fad, peanut butter filled
pizza crust! The frequency will be 7.280 Mhz lsb +/- for key clicks, mike
splatter and the shrill tormented soul screech of my neighbor's motion sensor
alarm going off each time I key the mike! Who needs one of thos expensive meters
anyhow.

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow. So check on in and let's chat things
Hallicrafters or other radios having vintage lineage.
