[Hallicrafters] SX-88 Question

Where is it in the circuit. Is the + end at ground?

That large value with low voltage would seem likely to me to be a cathode bypass
capacitor. The larger value will remove more of the feedback provided by an
unbypassed or lightly bypassed cathode resistor. It would increase the gainof
the stage and perhaps give you more bass response.

However perhaps it's elsewhere in the circuit.

I looked on the schematic at BAMA and can't seem to find C120. I found C119 but
not 120. It's difficult without printing it to find an individual component like
ont he screen that for me anyway.
