Hence, removing the other items the weight of the actual BC-610 may be the 390.5
lbs Chuck Dachis has in his book?

My copy of TM 11-281  dated March 1945 on Page 28 top of page list the 
BC-610-E with 2 cords as a gross shipping weight of 755 pounds and a net 
weight of 497 pounds. That is with the CH-120 containing the BC-614, 
JB-70 and Receiver with a net wt of 292#  and box #4  with ant TU as a 
 net wt of 48 #s plus all of the other stuff to make up the SCR-399.
