Joe, It looks like the Halli SP-44 fron panel EXACTLY, except the
controls are named slightly differently (but functionally same). The
BAMA manual has a nice pix of it on an early page. It has a 902A crt
plus 2 x 6SG7, 6SA7, 6SQ7, 6AC7, 6SN7, 2 x 6X5, VR105 (0C3).
I am suspecting the HV lines are mushy because my trace will not
overbrighten, just runs at a dim but usable level or less. Got it
recapped for all the old papers, and now starting to check the R here
and there, as well as postage stamp C, etc.
After removing the protective coating of tobacco goo and New York
City coal dust, it is coming out very handsomely on the beauty dept.
I am thinking that if Halli used this but with their name on it plus
an IF input tuned for their rigs, I might be able to stick an IF of the
Halli or Heath freq on the input and use it in that environment.
What does the SP44 show for a sig input device?
