Most likely.
The 5Y3 is electrically identical to the earlier 80.
I have an 80 that is a 5Y3 size envelope on a four-pin base.

If you have no type 80's and are unhappy at the prices they command 
nowadays, find a 4-pin tube base and wire on an octal socket.  Voila!  An 
adapter.  Good for testing radios that use type 80 before you are confident 
it is not going to blow one out.
