[Hallicrafters] Converter for SX-101A?

:-) Well, R390s are outside the budget right now, Phil. $100 for an
SX-101A is just about tops now. R390s are general coverage receivers,
aren't they, so a converter wouldn't be necessary.

I've also got a Sony ICF-2010 and a Sears/Yaesu FRG-7 if I want stable
receivers, but where's the fun in them?

My ham radio buddy in high school (late '50s) had an SX-73 that an uncle had
brought home from WW2. I was incredibly jealous. My Heathkit AR-3 looked
pretty meager next to it.
