[Hallicrafters] Converter for SX-101A?

Well, if you want stability & selectivity you could always get an R-390A
receiver for the IF section and put a good converter ahead of it!  You'd
still have a boatanchor, stability, selectivity AND accurate frequency
readout good to 200 Hz or so!  Of course I don't think Hallcrafters ever
built an R-390A (the obligatory "on topic" sentence).
