[Hallicrafters] S-53 vs S-53A

The i.f. frequency on the S-53 is, if I remember
correctly about 1650 KHz and the S-53A is 455 KHz.

The S-53 doesn't have quite the image problem that the
S-53A has because of the higher i.f. frequency.

The S-107 is just a reboxed S-53A.
