Your experience above was just what I was concerned about.
I want to run the output of the SR-400A through the tuner
and amp I have in line. The amp is a solid state Ten-Tec
Hercules II. I called Ten-Tec after reading your email
and they advised that there would be no problem running
the 260 or so watts of the Halli through the Herc 'cause
it's bypassed when turned off. Their QSK system
apparently only switches the reed relay and vac relay when
the TX en/out sense lines ground. So it appears I should
not have a problem (famous last words). Thanks for
reminding me to check !!
